This workshop aimed to equip newly enrolled incubatees with the essential knowledge and skills needed to develop and manage successful agri-business ventures. The session was facilitated by Ms. Emilyn D. The workshop began with an overview that emphasized the significance of a well-structured business plan as a foundation for success in a competitive market. Participants learned about market and technical strategies, focusing on understanding target markets and product demand. Ms. Varona encouraged engagement through questions and group activities that allowed attendees to apply market analysis tools directly to their business ideas. This interactive approach fostered a collaborative learning environment, enhancing participants’ understanding of market trends and feasibility.
As the training progressed, the focus shifted to organization and management, where Ms. Varona discussed establishing clear organizational structures and effective management systems. She highlighted the importance of strong leadership and team dynamics in facilitating growth for small enterprises. The afternoon session then delved into financial analysis, covering key concepts such as budget planning, revenue forecasting, and developing essential financial statements.
