Dr. Teresita Narvaez together with RESEL-ATBI-WESMAARRDEC celebrates her Retirement after 4 Decades of Service

After years of dedicated service, the Vice President of Research, Extension Services and External Linkages | WESMAARRDEC – Director celebrates her retirement. In a farewell speech given to her colleagues, she reflected on her time at the department and the accomplishments they achieved together.

Dr. Teresita Narvaez, who has been with the University for over 40 years, began her speech by expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to be of service within the organization. She acknowledged the hard work and dedication of her colleagues

During her tenure as Vice President of RESEL and WESMAARRDEC – Director, the organization experienced significant growth, success and recognition, thanks in part to her leadership and strategic vision.

Despite the bittersweet feeling of leaving the University, Dr. Narvaez is excited for the next chapter in her life and the new opportunities that lie ahead. She expressed her optimism for the future of the organization.

The Vice President’s colleagues, who have had the pleasure of working alongside her for many years, expressed their appreciation for her contributions to the University and wished her all the best in her retirement. Everyone will surely miss her leadership and guidance but will always remember her contributions to the organization’s success.

As we say goodbye to Dr. Narvaez, we are excited to welcome our new Vice President of Research, Extension Services and External Linkages, Dr. Joel Gonzales Fernando. The RESEL Units are confident that He will surely continue to drive the organization forward.
