WMSU-ATBI IN COLLABORATION WITH NICER PROJECT 3 CONDUCTED A PROJECT ORIENTATION AND TECHNOLOGY TRAINING ON ZAMPEN NATIVE CHICKEN PRODUCTION held on September 6-7, 2022 at Baluno, Bungiao Zamboanga City

BBOUFA (Baluno Bunguiao Operational Upland Farmers Association) actively participated in the activity. In addition, BBOUFA also expressed their opinions on the production of ZamPen Native Chicken and posed queries about the proper handling of ZamPen Chickens, how they keep their chickens healthy or treat illnesses, the timing of vaccinations, etc.
The team also went to some Baluno farmers’ areas to check if they could sustainably raise ZamPen Native Chickens on their farms. Based on what WMSU-ATBI saw in the area. They already have a few basic needs, such as a well for water supply and open space for the chickens. The area was found to be an ideal habitat for raising ZamPen Native Chicken.
