KIDS WHO FARM OFFICIALLY PARTNERS WITH WMSU-ATBI
Kids Who Farm Sustainable Food Systems, Inc. “aka Kids Who Farm” officially signed the partnership agreement to assist their served communities, by incorporating applicable agricultural production technology into their micro-farm communities. The Kids Who Farm was welcomed by the Dean, Dr. Elderico P. Tabal of WMSU-CAgri San Ramon, and was guided to see the different agri-production technologies in action. 15 representatives from 5 communities assisted by Kids Who Farm visited and saw the actual activities of various agri-production, including the ItikPinas, ZamPen Native Chicken, and Oyster Mushroom Production. The WMSU-ATBI salutes the experts in each technology/field for sharing their practices and expertise on how they managed to operate their designated production unit. They were also demonstrated with the incubation and breeding techniques for ZamPen Native Chicken.
Kids who farm were delighted to try their hand at growing fresh mushrooms. Some of their members went out to help with the packaging and wanted to learn how to produce and cultivate mushrooms, then try it out for themselves in their local area.
