WMSU-ATBI along with WESMAARRDEC visits Campo Vida, K5, and Kids who Farm.
The Western Mindanao State University – Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator (WMSU-ATBI) together with WESMAARRDEC visited Campo Vida, a permaculture and sustainable agriculture learning space in Brgy. Malagutay. The visit was facilitated by Kids Who Farm, introducing Campo Vida to WMSU-ATBI. Campo Vida, managed by ZABIDA, focuses on addressing food security needs through sustainable agricultural practices. During the visit, both organizations exchanged valuable information and insights, fostering collaboration and partnership.
At Campo Vida, the WMSU-ATBI team was warmly welcomed by the dedicated staff of the organization, this include Mr. Muneer of KWF and Ms. Piala of K5. WMSU-ATBI learned about the practices of permaculture and sustainable agricultural techniques employed by Campo Vida, which included integrating plants and animals, utilizing organic and locally sourced inputs, and emphasizing regenerative practices. The WMSU-ATBI team shared their own experiences and research findings, resulting in engaging discussions on innovative agricultural technologies.
The WMSU-ATBI team thanks Kids Who Farm for introducing Campo Vida. The visit served to possible partnership between Campo Vida and WMSU-ATBI. It laid a foundation for future collaborative activities aimed at advancing sustainable agriculture, improving food security, and promoting environmental stewardship.
