WMSU-ATBI conducts a training about 5s and Good Manufacturing Practices for Ruru Mushrooms

WMSU-ATBI conducted a training on “5s and Good Manufacturing Practices” for Ruru Mushrooms held at Lumiyap, Divisoria Zamboanga City. The training sought to provide their staff the know-how and skills required to raise productivity, efficiency, and safety at work.

Throughout the day, TBI’s Resource Speaker Prof. Gladess Pagal and Mr. Bryan Bondoc of Western Mindanao State University – College of Agriculture discussed the principles of 5s and how to apply them in their respective workplace. They also talked about the importance of Good Manufacturing Practices and how they can impact the quality of their products. In addition, Ruru Mushroom’s staff were given a training activity by our Resource Speaker in applying 5s. WMSU-ATBI showed the partial before and after result of applying 5s in their workplace.

The staff were engaged and enthusiastic, and it was clear that they were eager to apply what they’ve learned. WMSU-ATBI is thrilled to visit Ruru Mushrooms again to see the significant impact of 5s and GMP training on their entire work environment.
