WMSU-ATBI in collaboration with SKSU-ATBI conducts Incubatee Business Model Training Workshop
The Western Mindanao State University – Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator (WMSU-ATBI) held a comprehensive Business Model Training Workshop in collaboration with the Sultan Kudarat State University – Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator (SKSU-ATBI) to enhance entrepreneurial skills and promoting innovation. The event, which took place on March 5, 2024, at the WMSU Research Development, and Evaluation Center (RDEC) Conference Room in Baliwasan, Zamboanga City, attracted 25 participants.
The workshop featured distinguished resource speakers who provided valuable insights into key areas of business development. Dr. Rande. B Dechavez, Center Director of SKSU, delivered a lecture on “The Business Model Canvass,” where he presented a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental components required for creating a robust business model. Asso. Prof. Gladess A. Pagal, Department Head of Agribusiness at WMSU, discussed the “Basics of Writing a Business Plan,” providing attendees with a deep understanding of the vital aspects of business planning and guiding them through the intricacies of formulating a solid and actionable business strategy.
The workshop provided an opportunity for incubatees to apply their knowledge actively. Each incubatee presented its business model canvass, fostering a dynamic learning environment where ideas were exchanged, and insights were shared.
