WMSU-ATBI in collaboration with WESMAARRDEC participates in the Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) 2023 hosted by DOST-IX
WMSU-ATBI together with Western Mindanao Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (WESMAARRDEC) participated as exhibitors in the Regional Science Technology Week (RSTW) held at the Zamboanga Del Norte Cultural and Sports Center in Dipolog City from September 06-08, 2023, hosted by DOST-IX. The 2023 Zampen RSTW is a celebration of innovation, creativity, and the unquenchable thirst for knowledge. It’s a chance for people of all ages to explore, discover, and appreciate the wonders of science and technology that surround us every day.
WMSU-ATBI and WESMAARRDEC proudly presented a diverse range of technologies designed to empower startup businesses and research development. Their showcased innovations included Zampen native chicken production, oyster mushroom cultivation, vermicast production, charcoal briquette production, and hydroponic lettuce farming. These technologies hold the potential to revolutionize local livelihoods and promote sustainable practices. WMSU-ATBI also promoted the administrative and technical services they offer for business startups.
In addition to their technologies and services, WMSU-ATBI highlighted successful ventures from their incubation program. These included Ruru Mushroom Chips, UnVas Banana Leaf Paper, and Pomona Calamansi Juice Drink. These products are supported by the team, demonstrating how innovation can translate into practical, market-ready solutions.
WMSU-ATBI’s showcase of pioneering technologies and client success stories reinforced the notion that science and technology are the cornerstones of progress.
